Thing #7

This has been my favorite part so far... I spent a long time setting up our family calendar. I think it will be great! Now, my husband and I can add items as they arise from work. It will be a great way to keep everyone informed and on schedule. I had previously used google earth and had heard about google alert but the other areas were new to me. I enjoyed all of the areas and can see me using them in both my personal and in my classroom.

It's so funny, because when I dabbled with the Google Calendar, I thought of you immediately. I think that it will do marvel in helping you juggle your busy schedule!

I always appreciate your thoughts Alex Rover Wannabe but I am laughing about the calendar. Are you really going to look at it regularly? I set up mine and I find myself spending time just redoing it rather than doing the things on it. Remember you must be hooked to the internet for you to see it. I hope you understand the humor-comment back if not.

The calendar feature is pretty cool. I like how you can separate work and home, or overlap them. Glad you're having fun, Alex! Keep playing!

Like you, I prefer the google calendar over several others I have tried! I have 4 separate "calendars" on mine, and it is super easy to add and edit--lots of edits!

Four seperate calendars - WOW! I had a new idea recently, having thes students set up calendars for their assignments, sports etc. They don't seem to use the spiral calendars given by the school effectively. Maybe the students would be more inspired to use the google calendar.
